<p>The purpose of this study is to determine the role of parents in educating children's personalities, basic values focused on the precepts of Divinity and People's precepts, as well as their advantages and obstacles.</p> <p>This research uses a qualitative approach, a type of qualitative descriptive research, which is in the form of written words in the form of data in the form of words and actions. Then data is collected using data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed 1) the role of parents in educating children's personalities is done by communicating, providing attention, guidance, and direction to children. 2) Basic values are focused on divine precepts and popular precepts instilled by parents in children such as teaching children worship according to their religion, and deliberation on decisions to be taken in children's lives. 3) advantages in educating children's personalities through the values of Pancasila on the precepts of Divinity and People's precepts as an introduction to the religion they follow, as a foundation and fortress in association, as well as disciplined, independent and courageous. The obstacle is children who sometimes do not obey the advice of parents and have their own thoughts and do not want to be directed. </p>Hana YuwantiSubiyantoTity KusrinaR. Samidi
